How many weddings do you book a year?
We accept a maximum of 25 weddings per year per Photographer. This allows us to provide a superior level of customer service and attention to detail from the moment you reserve your date until the day you receive your finished album.
Do you travel for weddings and Engagement Sessions?
Absolutely! We have the unbelievable fortune to photograph the beauty in Northern Michigan, but we LOVE to go further. Our furthest destination so far has been Brazil, and we’re open to all destinations!
What kind of equipment do you use?
We use Canon professional gear. We are continually investing in the latest technologies and equipment to provide a superior product to our clientele. We also have back-up gear along with back-ups to our back-ups!
Do you use natural or artificial (Flash) lighting?
We place a huge emphasis on creating beautiful images with natural light. However, if there is little or no available light we will use artificial light to create the most natural looking scenes possible.
How many images do you end up with for most weddings?
We average between 60-80 images per hour (more than a photo per minute). You can take comfort knowing your day will be well documented.
What is required to reserve my date?
We require a reservation fee of 1/3 of the collection cost along with a signed contract in order to book your date. The remaining balance is split in two, with the final payment due 3 weeks prior to the wedding/event date. *Please remember that dates are limited and are on a first come, first served basis (upon receipt of contract and reservation fee). We love to have our clients come to our beautiful studio located right downtown in the Village at Bay Harbor. This way we can get to know each other a little better and discuss your vision as well as all of the various details about your day.
Do you scout locations prior to the wedding date?
Whenever it is possible. Wedding Photography in Northern Michigan has endless possibilities for creativity. We want to provide you with the best darn images in the most original locations possible!
Do you accept credit cards?
Yep! All kinds.
Do you have insurance?
Absolutely. We are comprehensively covered by an insurance company endorsed by Professional Photographers of America (PPA)
How long after an event are my pictures going to be posted online?
Our aim is to get your images to you as soon as possible while maintaining the highest level of image quality throughout your collection. That being said, it can take as little as 2 weeks or as long as 4 weeks. (The industry standard is anywhere from 4 weeks to 8 weeks).
How long does it take to receive my prints and Fine Art Books?
We process orders on a first come, first served basis. Generally you can expect between 2-4 weeks for all print orders for re-touching, printing, and delivery time. Our custom Fine Art Books can take between 4-6 months to complete (depending on the album).
